The Financial Newspaper has published this year's version of the report - 1000 Largest Companies in Poland. LG Energy Solution Wrocław secured the 7th position.
Among the top 10 companies in the ranking are firms such as Orlen, Jeronimo Martins, PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna GK, PZU, Totalizator Sportowy, Enea, and Lidl.
At its suburban facility in Biskupice Podgórne near Wrocław, LG Energy Solution achieves a capacity of 86 GWh, translating to the production of approximately 700 thousand EV batteries annually. The company aims to increase its production capacity to 90 GWh per year and manufacture one million electric vehicle batteries annually. The company is a European leader in electric vehicle battery production, accounting for 3% of Poland's exports and is one of the largest employers in Poland. The batteries produced at the Lower Silesian plant power vehicles from leading global brands such as Porsche, Volkswagen, Volvo, Peugeot, Audi, Jaguar, and Renault.
LG Energy Solution proudly holds the title of the world's largest holder of battery-related patents, with over 58,000 patents in total. Its robust global network includes battery production facilities established through joint ventures with major global car manufacturers in North America, Europe, and Asia. The total production capacity of the LG Energy Solution group is 540 + α GWh annually.

In addition to achieving the 7th position in the prestigious List 500 Rzeczpospolita ranking this year, LG Energy Solution Wrocław was also awarded Poland’s Best Employers 2024.
