On December 5th, at Q Hotel Plus Wrocław Bielany, the prestigious gala for the Golden Hundred of Lower Silesia ranking took place, announcing the top 100 companies with the best financial results. LG Energy Solution Wrocław secured the first position, honored for achieving the highest net revenue from the sale of goods, products, and services in 2022. This marks the first such ranking in the region, with the participation of several hundred entrepreneurs, local government officials, and individuals associated with the local market.
During the gala in Bielany Wrocławskie, awards were presented to the top 10 companies that secured the first places in the “Golden Hundred of Lower Silesia” ranking, playing a key role in the development of the province. The awards were given in three categories: companies with net revenues in 2022 – above 2 billion PLN; from 1 to 2 billion PLN, and below 1 billion PLN. LG Energy Solution Wrocław secured the first place in the category above 2 billion PLN.
“I am immensely grateful for this recognition. LG’s history in Poland dates back to 1998 when the LG group decided to invest in Poland, specifically in Mława. Later, we expanded to Wrocław. In 2005-2006, we were implementing and developing the most advanced technology at that time, namely LCD. This lasted for over 15 years. Then there was a change in technology, and production shifted to batteries for electric vehicles. Such a change was possible thanks to the commitment of Lower Silesians, residents of Wrocław, and our employees. This approach will continue to drive the Polish economy in the future. We see that our clients and partners also choose Wrocław and Lower Silesia. Once again, thank you, and congratulations to all the winners,” said Yong Girl Lee, Director of External Relations at LG Energy Solution Wrocław.
“Gazeta Wrocławska,” with the support of Dun & Bradstreet, a substantive partner, created a special economic ranking for the first time. The “Golden Hundred of Lower Silesia” is based solely on publicly available economic data. To evaluate companies, organizers used information from their most recent financial reports for the year 2022.
