LG Energy Solution Wrocław with two awards

In the last days of October, LG Energy Solution Wrocław was awarded during two events. The company received the “Investment in Poland” statuette and
a distinction as one of the leading CIT payers supplying the state treasury. 

Representatives of LG Energy Solution Wrocław received two awards: the title “Investment in Poland” awarded by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and distinction for one of the leading CIT payers for 2022 from the Minister of Finance. 

On Wednesday, October 25th, during the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna gala crowning the 11th edition of the project “There is no future without entrepreneurship,” the company received an award in the “Investment in Poland” category; on Thursday, representatives received the award from the Minister of Finance Magdalena Rzeczkowska during the TOP CIT 2022 event, which took place on October 26th before noon in the Ministry building. 

During the final gala of the 11th edition of the campaign “There is no future without entrepreneurship” on Wednesday evening, Vice President Gun Tai Kim received the award in the “Investment in Poland” category. 

 – We are glad that the competition jury noticed our investment not only because of its size but also because of its impact on the development of the Polish economy. – said Gun Tai Kim. – Many Polish employees have established the LG Energy Solution investment in Poland. Our workers and we co-create outstanding technology in Poland to export world-class battery products to the central regions worldwide. I want to thank them, especially for their commitment and effort in everyday work. – added, receiving the award.  Two more companies were awarded in the categories: Polish brand and Polish family company

TOP CIT 2022 gala of Ministry of Finance 

The second prize awarded to the company this week is the ministerial distinction in the TOP category of 10 individual CIT taxpayers awarded by the Ministry of Finance. The other distinguished were Orlen SA, Grupa Lotos, PZU SA, and E.ON Polska SA. CIT tax for 2022 paid by LG Energy Solution Wrocław amounted to PLN 505 million. 

LG Energy Solution Wrocław has been active in Poland since 2016. The dynamic development of Poland as one of the most important global players in the electromobile arena decided about the choice of the location near Wrocław. This is definitely the result of a policy favorable to new investments, open and committed to developing sustainable technologies.
