LG Energy Solution has fully purchased the shares of NEC Energy Solutions from its parent company NEC Corporation. The company manufactures lithium-ion batteries for passenger cars and system integration.

With this transaction, LG Energy Solution will form a corporation under the new name LG Energy Solution Vertech. Inc. With the purchase of the company, the company will enhance its ability to provide fully integrated energy storage systems (ESS), including installation, maintenance and operational support to enhance product performance.

In addition, LG Energy Solution will be able to offer systems supported by customised operational services, including remote monitoring and scheduled maintenance.
