The two days on the Modlin Circuit will make a permanent mark in the history of Polish automotive industry, and first of all, in the history of electromobility.

Festival of electromobility

Electromobility and zero-emission transport are not only a modern trend, and electric cars are not a whim. Every day they become the foundation for clean air and a healthy environment. Proof of their expansion and growing importance was the EV Experience powered by LG Energy Solution Wrocław, an event which promoting electromobility. The event took place on 24-25th of June at Modlin Circuit in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. The opening ceremony of the event, attended by LG Energy Solution Wrocław’s Business Support Director Mr. Yong Girl Lee and PSPA Managing Director Maciej Mazur, launched the two-day festival of electric cars, test drives and experiences provided by electromobility.

Electromobility is evolving more and more rapidly. We are observing growing interest in electric cars which is also confirmed by the development of our company. As a European leader in the production of lithium-ion batteries for electric cars, we are proud to support initiatives that have a real impact on the future of electromobility and zero-emission. One of them is EV Experience powered by LG Energy Solution Wrocław – said Mr. Yong Girl Lee during the opening ceremony.

Power up with LG Energy Solution Wrocław

The first day of EV Experience powered by LG Energy Solution Wrocław was packed with interviews, lectures and, above all, tests of electric cars. Modlin track was bursting at the seams! We also had the opportunity to present our company to a wider audience – in the ECO zone prepared by us, every participant of the event could see our batteries exposition – from cells, through modules to battery packs. Attendees could also listen about secrets of electromobility and… recharge themselves positively – relax on the deckchair and drink coffee.

The second day of the event provided participants with even more positive experiences! Open Day was filled with presentations of electric vehicles, road show with participation of EV Club Poland, races and tests of electric cars. Our ECO zone was visited by special guests – representatives of Embassy of Republic of Korea in Poland, Industrial Development Agency and Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency. The meeting was hosted by Business Support Director Mr. Yong Girl Lee, who talked about the production process and batteries produced by LG Energy Solution.

After the official opening of the second day of the event, II Electric Car Rally driven by cars powered by our batteries took place! We were proud to be at the head of those who together with us are developing electromobility in Poland.

There was also time to talk about zero-emission transport – Dagmara Kowalska from Chilli Zet radio in a conversation with Mr. Yong Girl Lee asked about the future of the industry and Polish people’ attitude towards electric cars.

Poland is becoming a key player in the global electromobility market. This is due to not only the growing awareness and interest in buying electric cars, but also thank to a huge production hub of components for electric cars. We can already see that this ecosystem, which was created with the emergence of LG Energy Solution in Wroclaw, is constantly growing. There are more and more companies in the value chain operating in Poland – commented Business Support Director at LG Energy Solution Wroclaw.

“Electric cars are great!”

Sustainable transport, safety and economic driving are milestones in the fight for climate protection. These are the values that we tried to promote during the event on Modlin Circuit.

We believe that EV Experience powered by LG Energy Solution Wrocław, which we took part in, will initiate more such projects and encourage the use of electric cars – said Agata Marcinkiewicz, spokeswoman of LG Energy Solution Wrocław. – Remember: electric cars are great! – she added.
