LG Energy Solution Wrocław and Opole Technical University concluded a cooperation agreement. The partnership will enable both joint research and development activities, as well as internships and apprenticeships for students. LG’s cooperation with the leading Polish university is also a response to the growing demand for specialized personnel in the electromobility sector.
The cooperation agreement was signed on 14 July 2021 by Piotr Blachura – HR Director of LG Energy Solution Wrocław and Professor Marcin Lorenc – Rector of Opole University of Technology.
LG needs no introduction, it’s a global company. We can also see how electromobility is developing. Cooperation with LG Energy Solution Wrocław will cover areas related to joint projects, activities, research. Our students will be able to take advantage of internships at LG. I hope that the agreement signed today will translate not only into the development of LG and the Opole University of Technology, but also Opole and the entire region – said Prof. Marcin Lorenc.
Thanks to the signing of the agreement, both sides will start cooperation in conducting research and development works, projects of innovative and scientific character, as well as subsequent implementation of their effects in everyday work of industry.
With our potential, we have great possibilities for cooperation, e.g. modern technology used in our factories will surely be attractive to the students themselves. We would also like to participate in their education and be an active partner for Opole Technical University – commented Piotr Blachura.

The cooperation agreement was concluded for an indefinite period. The parties plan to jointly apply for external funds for research works and conduct activities to promote the activities of Opole University of Technology.
