On April 18th, we celebrated the First Innovation Day at LG Energy Solution Wrocław. The gala showcased the best proprietary innovative projects submitted in the first quarter of 2024. In total, 10 individuals were awarded in 3 categories. Project presentations were accompanied by knowledge quizzes.
According to the organizers, the Manufacturing Innovation and Innovation teams at LG Energy Solution Wrocław, Innovation Day emerged from the need to create a space for the exchange of ideas, concepts, experiences, and contacts, as well as to build teamwork cooperation. Its primary goal is to promote internal innovations and encourage the creation and implementation of the best ideas to inspire others.
“We are pleased with the turnout at our event and encourage all employees to submit their innovative projects, which hopefully will be recognized in future editions of Innovation Day,” said Monika Gollnik, part leader of the Manufacturing Innovation team and the host of the first Innovation Day in the history of LG Energy Solution Wrocław. “We hope that Innovation Day will become a regular event and serve as a motivator for further positive changes.”
During the gala, awards were presented in the categories of Innovation Project and Shop Floor Improvement. The jury also awarded 2 trophies to the best of the best, known as Pro-Ensolers, to recognize and appreciate proactive attitudes and readiness to implement new ideas. The recipients were individuals previously honored with the Best Employee Award and nominated by their teams.

Our task is to meet demand, and the key to achieving this goal is innovation, both technological and operational. Today, Innovation Day and the creative projects submitted by our employees are much more important than ever before. I would like to thank everyone for their contributions and dedication. I also thank our production employees, who are often the first to encounter innovations at LG Energy Solution Wrocław. When we talk about innovations, we cannot ignore Energy Storage System (ESS) technologies, which are becoming increasingly popular worldwide. We are keeping a close eye on this trend."
