The delivery and installation phase for key components of the Electric Energy Storage Facility has begun in Żarnowiec. The first units of the DC-Link containerized energy storage system are arriving at the project site and are being immediately installed
at their designated locations – on specially prepared foundation slabs. All units were manufactured in Poland.

Biskupice Podgórne, February 27, 2026 – LG Energy Solution Wrocław signed an agreement with the European Commission for the ‘46inEU project’ last year and is now moving forward with its implementation. The 46inEU initiative aims to achieve a breakthrough in electric vehicle (EV) battery technology by introducing a new generation of 46 series cylindrical lithium ion cells.

The third edition of the “Charge the Future” summer internship is behind us!

On September 30, 25 students from various universities completed the “Charge the Future” summer internship program. During the internship summary event, three main prizes were awarded in the “Energy of Tomorrow” competition, as well as one honorable mention.

PGE has begun construction of one of Europe’s largest battery energy storage facilities

PGE has officially commenced work on the construction of the Żarnowiec battery energy storage facility with a capacity of 262 MW and a storage capacity of approximately 981 MWh. The investment is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2027.
