On August 4, we hosted members of the Parliamentary Group Poland – Republic of Korea and a representative of the South Korean Embassy in Poland. The visit was an excellent opportunity to learn more about one of the largest investments that resulted in the introduction of the most modern technology into Poland, and also made our country a European leader in the electromobility industry.
Participants of the meeting are representatives of the Poland-Republic of Korea Parliamentary Group: chairman Tadeusz Aziewicz, vice-chairman Jan Łopata and Marek Rutka, Piotr Adamowicz, Tomasz Nowak and Piotr Borys, as well as a representative of the South Korean Embassy Chan Su Kim. The event was hosted by LG Energy Solution Wroclaw President Jangha Lee and Business Support Department Director Yong Girl Lee.
During the meeting, the guests had the chance to learn more about LG Energy Solution Wroclaw: the ongoing production processes at the world’s largest electric car battery plant, as well as visit the latest, fourth stage of the investment’s construction, which will further increase production capacity. Not without significance is the fact that LG Energy Solution Wrocław uses 100% renewable energy. The meeting made it possible to show the scale of the investment also in human capital – the Learning Center, where LG Energy Solution educates and develops the skills of the team, and the “Ul” kindergarten, which is under construction.
During the meeting there was no lack of space to show the Company’s involvement in pro-environmental activities such as the promotion of electromobility and contribution to the development of zero-emission transport in Poland. A video summarizing the EV Experience powered by LG Energy Solution Wrocław showed how enthusiastically Poles approach electromobility transportation.
