LG Energy Solution Wrocław planted 40 trees for Tyniec Mały students

LG Energy Solution Wrocław has been involved in cooperation with the Lower Silesia region for years, actively supporting local communities and institutions, especially in Kobierzyce Commune. For this reason, the company has become involved in the initiative of the School and Kindergarten Complex in Tyniec Mały.

On October 31, the alley next to the school went green with the planting of 40 hornbeams. The event was attended by the president of LG Energy Solution Wrocław, Jangha Lee, and the head of Kobierzyce Commune, Piotr Kopeć. The new plantings will act as a natural noise barrier, separating the school grounds from the nearby economic zone.

Some of you will soon finish your education at our school, but then, as friends of the school, you will see how the trees have grown and what joy they bring to your younger colleagues and classmates. I am very happy that we can plant these trees together. Thank you all for this wonderful initiative.

Students from the fourth and eighth grades diligently observed the entire process of planting trees. Hornbeam, a hardy and densely spreading species, will create a natural hedge over time. The trees will also provide shade and shelter for small organisms, but most importantly, they will separate the students from the road, giving them a sense of warmth and comfort.

Today we have a unique opportunity to plant trees together with the president of LG Energy Solution Wroclaw, a company neighboring the school. This action today is sponsored precisely by the company. Of course, this is the first small step. We are showing that we can do something together, but surely there will be more of these steps, because Mr. President is open and willing to do so, for which we are extremely grateful.

The children’s task will be to look after the welfare of the trees. Now, for autumn and winter, the leaves of the hornbeams will dry up, but they will remain on the branches. Then, when summer comes, the trees will help catch their breath on hot days. Thanks to them, the temperature will drop by as much as 11 degrees!

First of all, thank you, dear students for being here and for such a warm welcome. These small steps that the mayor mentioned are the right steps. I wish you that in the time to come, as the trees outgrow you, you will also gain wisdom comparable to that of the trees.
